On November 27, Armand Derhy, Dean of the PSB Paris School of Business, led a delegation to visit Shanghai Academy where they were hosted by Zhu Cheng, Director of the Cooperation Division of Shanghai Academy.
Mr. Derhy and his party first viewed the official English promotional film of Shanghai Academy and thus have some knowledge of the founding background, development orientation, goals, and relevant academic achievements of Shanghai Academy. Then, Zhu Cheng briefed the delegation that Shanghai Academy is a new-type think tank built by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in collaboration with Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, with creating a high-level platform for international exchanges one of its key objectives. Based in Shanghai and serving the nation, Shanghai Academy aims to build itself into a high-end think tank, a high-end talent cultivation base, a high-end platform for international exchanges and cooperation, and a high-end national situation investigation base (“four high-end bases”). Shanghai Academy is willing to carry out further and deeper cooperation with PSB Paris School of Business in think tank research, holding international forums, training high-end talents, and other fields.
Mr. Derhy introduced that, established in 1974 and ranking first in French business schools according to SMBG Eduniversal Rankings, PSB Paris School of Business offered a DBA program, thus, its graduates are highly welcomed by both government and business circles. PSB Paris School of Business is willing to carry out all-round collaboration with Shanghai Academy, particularly in making international studies, convening forums, training talents, and other fields. He also sincerely invited experts and scholars of Shanghai Academy to visit PSB Paris School of Business.
Subsequently, Song Weijian, Director of Shanghai Teaching Center of the Graduate School of CASS, briefed the delegation on the faculty and academic achievements of the Graduate School. Ni Zhongxin, Director of the Financial Information Research Center of Shanghai University, also analyzed and introduced the quantitative and qualitative research methods and the doctoral dissertation guidance work. Both parties engaged in an in-depth dialogue with regard to humanistic and academic exchanges between Shanghai Academy and PSB Paris School of Business in future.
Zou Dekui, the Chinese representative of PSB Paris School of Business, accompanied the delegation on the visit. Song Weijian, Ni Zhongxin and other relevant personnel participated in the talks and exchanges.
