On October 17, a delegation from PSB Paris led by its Academic President, Sylvaine Castellano, visited Shanghai Academy, and Wen Xueguo, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Academy, received the visitors.
Sylvaine Castellano first watched the English advertising video of Shanghai Academy and learnt about the background, positioning, goals, and academic achievements of Shanghai Academy. Wen Xueguo introduced Shanghai Academy as a new-type think tank jointly established by CASS and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, noting that building a high-level platform for international exchanges is one of its major goals. Based in Shanghai and serving the nation, Shanghai Academy aims to build itself into a high-end think tank, a high-end talent training base, a high-end platform for international exchanges and cooperation, and a high-end national situation investigation base (“four high-end bases”). Shanghai Academy is willing to strengthen communication with overseas universities and organizations, in a bid to advance the cultural and academic exchanges between both sides.

Sylvaine Castellano said, PSB Paris was established in 1974, and tops the SMBG list for undergraduate business education in France. It also has a background in international finance and industrial economy, and provides the DBA program. She hopes to strengthen the cooperation and mutual learning between PSB Paris and Shanghai Academy in multiple aspects, so as to promote the development of both sides.
Zhou Dekun, the Chinese representative of PSB Paris, accompanied Sylvaine Castellano in the visit. Yang Huijun, Director of the Secretariat of Shanghai Academy, and Song Weijian, Director of Shanghai Teaching Center of the Graduate School of CASS, attended the talks.
