Development of Shanghai Songjiang Family Farms in Past Decade

【Abstract】

This issue of the Survey Report publishes the article entitled Development of Shanghai Songjiang Family Farms in Past Decade. The article first analyzes the preliminary achievements of the development of family farms in Songjiang in the past decade, points out that family farms become successful samples for the "division of three rights" of rural land, and explores the new agricultural modernization development mode in riverside towns in southern China, the increased income level of farmers and the improved rural environment. Furthermore, it also analyzes the policy support system for family farms in Songjiang. First, establish the farmland transfer system; second, establish the moderate scale land management system; third, improve the family farm operator access and exit mechanism; fourth, strengthen the socialized service mechanism; and fifth, strengthen the policy-oriented top-level design. The article further points out that family farms in Songjiang must focus on enhancing the marketing capacity, improving policy measures and protecting farmland management rights.
