Part-time Research Fellow of Shanghai Academy, Vice President of Shanghai Statistical Society, Contract Research Fellow of Fudan University, Contract Research Fellow of Development Research Center of Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, master tutor (off-campus) of School of Economics of Shanghai University, Deputy Secretary-General of Shanghai Academy of Huaxia Social Development Research, and Columnist of Chinese International New Column of China Daily, member of China Economic Philosophy Research Association, and reviewer of British international journal Applied Science and Technology.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Worked as deputy director in charge of statistics and price of Development and Reform Commission of central key districts of Shanghai. In recent five years, Chen presided over three provincial-level projects and more than 10 district and county-level subjects of Shanghai, published more than 80 statistical analysis and statistical investigation reports on national authority and core academic journals; among them, eight academic papers won excellent academic paper prizes of China Statistical Society, Shanghai Social Science and Technology Federation and Shanghai Statistical Society, forming about 600,000 Chinese characters of statistical analysis reports and academic research achievements.

Chen has been engaged in the macroeconomic research and statistical analysis work for a long time. Among them, World Economy in Post-Modern Society, Research on Social Risks of Mega Cities and other academic monographs, as well as China Science Development Index in collaboration with other authors have certain influence on academic circles.

His personal monographs also include Population Census Heroes and Impression on Australia. He won the honor of Advanced Individual of National Statistical System in 2008; National-level Advanced Individual in the first and second national economic censuses, 1% national population sampling survey in 2005, and national input and output survey in 2010; Advanced Statistical Worker of Shanghai, and Advanced Individual of The 12th five-year Plan for Women and Children in Shanghai in 2010.
