On the morning of December 9, 2015, Fan Tijun, Director of Arts Division of East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST), led a delegation visiting Shanghai Academy, where they were hosted by academy Executive Vice President, Wen Xueguo.

At the meeting, Wen Xueguo introduced the development positioning, current status and prospect of Shanghai Academy. Both parties took part in a forum to discuss and exchange ideas around issues concerning how to build the scholar and expert tanks, and cooperation on building the Academy of Humanities and Social Science at ECUST, and reached a preliminary consensus.

The forum was also attended by Ji Xiaolan, Vice President of Social and Public Administration School of ECUST, Yang Huijun, Director of Research Division, Shanghai Academy, and other related personnel.
