On the morning of November 20, 2015, a seven-member delegation of Shanghai Academy led by Executive Vice President Wen Xueguo paid a visit to Pangoal Institution where they were hosted by Pangoal institution researcher Wang Ziqiang and fellow staff. Both parties met to discuss topics of common interest and cooperation matters and reached consensus.
Wen Xueguo and Wang Ziqiang introduced the general situation, function positioning and organizational structure of the two think tanks. Attendees of both parties carried out extensive exchange and discussion on think tank positioning, output achievements and the communication channel of think tank results, and issues concerning the construction and sustainable development of think tanks. Both parties expected to carry out further cooperation in personnel exchange and related academic activities organized by collaborative efforts, so as to jointly promote the development of new Chinese think tanks.
