The forum themed as the “Construction of Shanghai Scientific & Technological Innovation Center: Realization Approaches and Financial Support”, jointly sponsored by the National Institute for Finance & Development, China Financial Information Center and Shanghai Academy, was held in Pudong on July 11, 2015.

From the perspective of financial support, the experts and scholars from governments, scientific research institutes and enterprises had in-depth discussions about policy research on China’s scientific & technological financial system, basic conditions for constructing the scientific & technological center in Shanghai and its mode of financial promotion. 　　

Tu Guangshao, Executive Vice Mayor of Shanghai, and Li Yang, member of the Academic Divisions of CASS and President of the National Institution for Finance & Development, both delivered speeches, speaking highly of the project results. Wen Xueguo, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Academy, made a speech as a guest speaker from the sponsor and interacted with the audience at the site. Ji Weimin, Director of Secretariat, and Yang Huijun, Director of Research Division, also attended the meeting. 　　

On the day when the forum was held, the Lujiazui Institute of CASS released reports including the Construction of the Global Scientific & Technological Innovation Center in Shanghai and the Research Report on Financial Promotion for the Construction of Shanghai Scientific & Technological Innovation Center.
