On December 13, 2015, a delegation composed of senior representatives from Academies of Sciences of Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC), accompanied by representatives from the Institute of European Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), held a meeting with their counterparts from Shanghai Academy and Shanghai University to discuss matters of cooperation and exchanges at the Lehu Building, Shanghai University.

At the meeting, Wen Xueguo, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Academy, first briefed the guests of the current status and prospects of Shanghai Academy’s development. Representatives from Academies of Sciences of CEEC introduced the basic situations of their academies. The parties exchanged ideas on topics of their current development, characteristic projects, achievements in scientific research and other related issues. Both sides look forward to continue to carry out deep cooperation in fields of academic research, visiting and exchanges, so as to advance the new think tank construction of Shanghai and CEEC.
