The Key Reference is a policy consultation reference publication compiled according to the “four high-end bases” positioning policy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) and Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, which is dedicated to presenting consultation achievements of certain ideological level and research depth. Based in Shanghai, it retains a national perspective and a global outlook; it endeavors to build a central ideological platform for reform and opening-up policy, and to provide the government with prudent and scientific research consultation, investigation and analysis of social conditions and public opinions, as well as recommendation reports on governance and decision-making.
To provide consultation reports of higher quality, the Editorial Department of The Key Reference hereby solicits contributions from the wider public, the details are as follows:
I. Potential Contributors
Domestic and overseas experts engaged in related research.
II. Contribution Requirements
1. The contributions to be submitted should provide analysis and suggestions for the solution of major economic and social issues requiring urgent or near future attention in Shanghai;
2. The topics selected should have a certain ideological basis, be of some strategic significance and reflect problem awareness;
3. A simple style of writing and refined language should be adopted, and the word count should be kept between 3000 and 5000;
4. The submission must not infringe intellectual property rights.
III. Contributions Fees and Incentives
Once a contribution is adopted, the author will receive a generous contribution fee or bonus as payment, according to the relevant regulations of Shanghai Academy.
