On March 29, Wang Gang, CPC Committee Secretary and Executive Vice President of the Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences, led a seven-member delegation to visit Shanghai Academy. Both parties held a meeting to discuss and exchange views on issues concerning think tank construction. Wen Xueguo, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Academy, presided over the meeting.
Wang Gang first briefed the basic situation of the Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences and then expressed his hope to exchange views with Shanghai Academy on issues concerning institutional innovation and talent introduction. Wen Xueguo detailed the organizational structure, objective and positioning, as well as principle of Shanghai Academy and highlighted the “Four High-End” construction, the production and communication mode of think tank products, the scientific research incentive mechanism and other aspects. At the meeting, both parties also engaged in a lively discussion on how to share resources and promote cooperation.
The meeting was attended in person by Lu Qin, CPC Committee Vice Secretary and Discipline Inspection Commission Secretary of the Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences, Zhang Yu, Lu Jing and Sha Jun, vice presidents of the Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences, Director Zhang Hong from the President Office and Director Sun Chongwen from the Research Division of the Shanghai Academy of Educational Sciences, Director Yang Huijun from the Secretariat of Shanghai Academy, Director Chen Yao from the Administration Division of Shanghai Academy, Deputy Director Li Chunguang from the Cooperation Division of Shanghai Academy, and Deputy Director Chen Yuegang from the Research Division of Shanghai Academy.
