On April 11, the International Symposium on China-Africa Cooperation and People-to-People Exchanges - New Areas, New Drivers and New Ways of China-Africa Cooperation, jointly sponsored by Shanghai Academy and the National Institute of Social Development of CASS, kicked off in Shanghai.
Joaquim Alberto Chissano, former president of Mozambique, and Guo Hong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of West-Asian and African Studies of CASS, respectively addressed the symposium. Li Youmei, First Vice President of Shanghai Academy, attended the symposium.
