Suggestions about the Planning and Publicity of the 1st China International Import Expo and Related Forums

[Abstract]

This issue of Key Reference publishes an article entitled Suggestions for Planning and Publicity of the 1st China International Import Expo and Related Forums. The article centers on building the 1st China International Import Expo into Hongqiao International Trade Forum, a “think tank” forum that’s different from previous expos, and suggests adoption of the thoughts about preparation, i.e. “One Surround, Two Crosses and Four Highlights”, and focus on the following issues: First, with hosting China International Import Expo and Hongqiao International Trade Forum as the focus, efforts must be made to create a favorable international institutional environment; second, Shanghai must work to ensure the successful launch of the 1st China International Import Expo and Hongqiao International Trade Forum, with full consideration and understanding of the feelings of citizens; third, Shanghai must highly value and actively guide the publicity and coverage of the 1st China International Import Expo and Hongqiao International Trade Forum by the major media across the world.
