Time is the Top Problem Facing Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone

[Abstract]

This issue of the Key Reference publishes an article entitled The Evaluation Center of CASS Considers Time is the Top Problem Facing Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone. The article analyzes the development of the Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone, and gives policy suggestions about how to advance the further development of Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone: First, institutional innovation must be strengthened to build Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone into a high-level free trade zone in the world; Second, Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone must seize the opportunity created by the “Belt and Road” strategy and be geared up to TPP and TIPP; Third, Shanghai Pilot Free Trade Zone must serve national development strategies and establish the collaboration mechanism for coordinated development.
