Building a New-type Government-Business Relationship and Highlighting Cultivation of Young Entrepreneurs
[Abstract]
This issue of the Key Reference publishes an article entitled Building a New-type Government-Business Relationship and Highlighting Cultivation of Young Entrepreneurs. The article summarizes the local characteristics of the younger generation of entrepreneurs in Shanghai, and highlights two aspects in the training of young entrepreneurs in Shanghai, i.e. the mentoring system in which old entrepreneurs teach young ones and the discovery and cultivation of young entrepreneurs through social organizations. Finally, it gives suggestions about further training young entrepreneurs: First, the excellent role models among Shanghai’s next-generation entrepreneurs must be vigorously publicized; Second, the different industrial structures in different places must be highlighted, so as to define the focuses of work in a targeted manner; Third, efforts must be made to give further play to the leading role of the social organizations in Shanghai; Fourth, efforts must be made to prevent the “ageing” of young entrepreneurs’ organizations and improve their “sense of presence” and “national or collective memory”.
