[Abstract]

This issue of the Key Reference publishes the article entitled Shanghai Sees Notable Improvements in Social Quality over the Past Five Years. The article analyzes the overall improvements in Shanghai’s social quality from aspects including the social and economic foundation, social cohesion, social inclusiveness and social empowerment, and gives suggestions about further improving the social quality in Shanghai based on the policies that Shanghai developed to enhance social quality during the 12th Five-year Plan period.
