Xu Yiguo, PhD in economics, is a graduate of China Renmin University and the Graduate School of CASS. He acts as Deputy Director of the Institute of Financial Policy of CASS, research fellow of the Institute of Finance and Banking of CASS, Director of the Academic Exchange Center, Deputy Director of the Corporate Finance Research Office, Deputy Dean of the Finance Department of the Graduate School of CASS, and MBA and MF Supervisor. Concurrently, he serves as Secretary-general of Beijing CBD International Financial Academy. In recent years, he has published many papers in such academic journals as Finance & Trade Economics, China Finance, The Banker, Economic Information Journal, Financial Times and China Economic Times, has published a monograph titled Financial Liberalization: Path and Its Effect (Economic Press China, 2008), and translated works including Rise of RMB: International Status and Influence (China CITIC Press, 2013). Entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Science and Technology, the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun, relevant committees, offices and bureaus of Beijing Municipal Government, Liaoning Provincial Government, Shandong Qingdao Municipal Government, Hunan Hengyang Municipal Government, the Administrative Committee of Shaanxi Xixian New Area, Lujiazui Institute of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. and other government departments and enterprises, Xu has presided over and participated in nearly 100 subject researches and planning tasks, as well as the compilation of multiple textbooks and reference books, such as Finance, Chinese Financial Dictionary and China Foreign Exchange Business Pandect.
