Cheng Lian, PhD in Economics, is an assistant research fellow of the Institute of Finance and Banking at CASS, deputy director of the Financial Policy Research Center, and deputy chief editor of the Chinese Review of Financial Studies. His main research fields include International finance, economic geography, monetary theory and institutionalism analysis. He has published many papers in academic journals, such as China Economics Quarterly and Journal of World Economy. He has also written many works and won the First Prize of Conference Paper at the 1st International Finance Youth Forum. He presided over many subjects, including the social network of the National Natural Science Foundation of China: China’s Unbalanced Regional Development under Political Economics Perspectives, and “Research on Macro-prudential Financial Supervision”, a study commissioned by the People’s Bank of China.
