Yao Zhanqi, PhD in Economics, Deputy Director of the Research Office for Service Economy of the Institute of Finance and Trade Economy of CASS, Research Fellow, Master’s Supervisor. He has acted as a visiting scholar in the International Institute for Asian Studies in the Netherlands, University of Missouri, Russian Academy of Sciences and other institutions. His research fields include policy of the service industry, productivity of the service industry, opening of the service industry, and modern finance. He has published such monographs as Development and Competitiveness Enhancement of China’s Service Industry under Conditions of Globalization (sole author), Technological Progress and the Modern Service Industry: Integration, Interaction and Contribution to Growth (first author) and Cross-border M&A and International Capital Flow (sole author), and more than 60 papers in domestic and foreign journals, including the Economic Research Journal, The Journal of World Economy, China Industrial Economics and The Chinese Economy. He has presided over and participated in above 20 subjects.
