On the morning of October 16, 2015, the 13th (2015) Academic Annual Meeting titled “Research and Innovation for Social Comprehensive Governance of Mega-cities under the New Normality” was held at East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST). The meeting was sponsored by Shanghai Federation of Social Science Associations and organized by Social and Public Administration School of ECUST and Shanghai Society for Future Studies. At the opening ceremony, Prof. Zhang Guangli, Party committee secretary of Social and Public Administration School of ECUST, made the welcome address. Wen Xueguo, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Academy attended and addressed the meeting. Prof. Ji Xiaolan, Vice President of Social and Public Administration School of ECUST, presided the meeting. More than 30 experts and scholars from Fudan University, Renmin University of China, ECUST and other universities attended the meeting and carried out academic exchanges.
