【Abstract】
This issue of Key Reference publishes an article entitled Policy Suggestions for Preventing Setbacks in Shanghai Judicial Reform. The article analyzes that Shanghai judicial reform is oriented to solve problems in Shanghai and provide reproducible and promotable experience for national judicial reform. Currently, in the comprehensive supporting reform of the judicial system, Shanghai faces such risks as departmental interest solidification, low enthusiasm of judicial personnel, unclear legal basis, and insufficent transparency. The risk for Shanghai’s judicial reform is also the potential risk point in the nationwide promotion of judicial reform. Therefore, Shanghai shall actively summarize risk categories and countermeasures, so as to well maintain, consolidate, and develop advanced achievements of the judicial reform. The article further points out that in the next stage, Shanghai judicial reform must build a consensus, fully mobilize the initiative in judicial reform, smooth the promotion channel for judge’s assistants, and conduct third-party assessment for the achievements of juridical reform, at the right time.
