[Abstract]

The 3rd Theoretical Seminar for the Construction of the National Philosophy and Social Science Discourse System was held in Shanghai on October 14, 2016. Wang Weiguang, President and Secretary of the Party Group of CASS, said, the important speeches of Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, feature a great vision, profound connotation and far-reaching significance, not only providing fundamental principles and action guidance for the innovation-oriented development of philosophy and social science, but also specifying the guidelines and requirements for the construction of the national philosophy and social science discourse system with Chinese characteristics and styles.
