Reforming College Technological Transfer Institutions and Accelerating the Industrialization of Technological Achievements
[Abstract]
This issue of the Key Reference publishes the article entitled Reforming College Technological Transfer Institutions and Accelerating the Industrialization of Technological Achievements. By studying two world-famous college technological companies, including Ramot under Tel Aviv University, and Yissum under The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, the article proposes the following major institutional reforms for the colleges in Shanghai: First, they must make college technological transfer institutions more market-oriented to ensure their independence and flexibility; Second, they must accelerate the training and introduction of professional technology brokers in college technology transfer institutions and build a specialized talent team; Third, they must reasonably address the relations between basic research and achievements transfer to provide inexhaustible power to sustained innovation; Fourth, they must regulate the processes in college technological transfer institutions and form a mechanism for win-win benefits.
