This issue of the Key Reference publishes an article entitled “Grey” Financial Institutions Pose Risk for Shanghai’s Financial Market. The article analyzes the current development and risk infection feature of “grey” financial institutions, and proposes detailed approaches to guiding “grey” financial institutions and preventing against financial risk: First, standards must be established and “domicile registration” must be introduced to divert “grey” financial institutions; Second, risk control must be highlighted in the efforts to rectify illegal behaviors; Third, business and regulatory innovation must be introduced by seizing the opportunity of guiding “grey” financial institutions.
