Suggestions about Advancing Urban Tourism in Shanghai from the Perspective of a Global City

[Abstract]

This issue of the Key Reference publishes an article entitled Suggestions about Advancing Urban Tourism in Shanghai from the Perspective of a Global City. The article gives detailed analysis from aspects including, “accurately seizing the new opportunities for the development of urban tourism in Shanghai” and “focusing on the key issues about the development of urban tourism in Shanghai”, and proposes detailed countermeasures. That is, tourism is an important representative of an open economy, and Shanghai must shoulder the main task in the national efforts to develop a new landscape for the opening-up of tourism. The tourism industry must play a positive role in helping Shanghai develop into a global city and serve national strategies.
