Development of the ‘City of BRICS’ Must Be Linked with Construction of the Free Trade Zone in Shanghai

【Abstract】

This issue of the Key Reference publishes an article entitled “Development of the ‘City of BRICS’ Must Be Linked with Construction of the Free Trade Zone in Shanghai”, in order to study Shanghai’s current situations and strategic deployment for actively developing into a “city of BRICS”. The article also clearly defines Shanghai’s development objective of growing into a world-class financial center neck and neck with New York and London, deeply taps Shanghai’s existing great potential of developing into a “city of BRICS”, and finally points out that the development of a “city of BRICS” must be linked with construction of a free trade zone in Shanghai as a whole.
