【Abstract】

This issue of the Key Reference publishes an article entitled Solve Structural Unemployment Risks and Promote Steady Economic Growth in Shanghai. The article puts forward policy suggestions on the basis of an analysis of current situations and problems of Shanghai's employment market. Specifically, efforts must be made to increase the labor participation rate by comprehensively deepening the reform of the household registration system, and enhancing the labor supply for structural adjustment of Shanghai; promoting the transformation and upgrading of Shanghai’s employment structure by taking favorable opportunities from the labor market balance; implementing targeted employment expansion policies for different groups; and establishing an effective labor market monitoring system.
