Israel's Technological Innovation Series: Build an Active and Healthy Ecological Network for Innovation and Business Startup

【Abstract】

As it speeds up construction of a globally influential scientific & technological innovation center, to serve as a good pacesetter in China's reform and opening up, and a pioneer in innovation and development, in accordance with the central government proposal for Shanghai, and in the face of the new situation of increasingly serious rigid constraints in the total land volume, resource and environment, and total population, Shanghai is facing enormous pressure in the aspects of innovation and development. This issue of the Survey Report publishes an article entitled Build an Active and Healthy Ecological Network for Innovation and Business Startup, which conducts in-depth thinking and proper reference from Israel's successful experiences from the perspective of a global innovative ecology network. It combines Shanghai's foundation and actual situation, and Israel's unique advantages and features, as a special model for scientific & technological innovation in the world. Recommendations drawn include: 1.Fully stimulate the inherent innovation drive of the whole society; 2. Give better play to the role of government and relevant social organizations; 3. Continue to strengthen the work of attracting and gathering innovation and business starting talents; 4. Accelerate the reform of a TTO operating mechanism of colleges and universities and scientific research institutes; 5. Make great efforts to promote integration of military use and civil use, and their in-depth development; 6. Further strengthen international cooperation on innovation.
