The research projects for 2017 of the Modern Charity Research Center of Shanghai Academy have attracted extensive attention from all walks of life, since the guide was released in July 2017, and a total of 49 valid applications have been received so far. The center conducted formal review of the applications, and organized expert review in accordance with the requirements about project review, as specified by the Directors’ Committee. Based on the review results, it is suggested the following ten projects be approved, and the results are publicized as follows.
